Danny Lee Irizarry (Dean Llord) is a composer, author, and creative producer whose career bridges art, faith, and personal transformation.

Born in Pontiac, Michigan, and raised between Puerto Rico and the state of Florida, he began his artistic journey at a very young age as a dancer for the Puerto Rican Youth Ballet, representing the island both nationally and internationally. His passion for music led him to study at the Escuela Libre de Música de Ponce, where he was also part of choirs and pop and rock groups.

After settling in Florida, he expanded his artistic training by studying acting and commercial modeling at the John Casablancas Center in Tampa. He participated in television commercials and film productions, including Ocean's Eleven, The Greatest Street Boxer, Scenario C, The Call, Lifted, and The Cat in the Hat.

Musical theater became another natural expression of his talent. He was part of productions in Florida such as West Side Story and UZ, where he had the opportunity to sing, dance, and act on the same stage.

In 2002, he released his debut album in Spanish, Dean Llord, performing on various stages in Florida and consolidating the foundations of his career as a songwriter and music producer. Although he reduced his live performances over the years, he never stopped writing, silently developing a vast catalog of original songs.

In 2014, he published his first book in Spanish, Mi Horno de Fuego – Apología pro Verita, where he honestly shared his experiences facing depression, bullying, and suicidal thoughts, offering a message of hope to those going through similar struggles.

In 2026, he published the English edition of the work under the title My Fiery Furnace – Apología pro Verita, bringing that same message of faith, restoration, and hope to a wider audience.

He also worked as a radio host and podcast creator, using media as a tool to inspire and motivate others.

In 2024, he founded Blackpearl Music Publishing LLC, focused on the composition and administration of musical works, with the vision of sharing his songs through the voices of other artists.

In 2026, he founded Blackpearl Entertainment LLC and returned to the theatrical world as producer and director of Gotita y Yo – El Musical, an original production for which he wrote the script and all the songs, personally supervising every stage of its development and production.

Today, Dean Llord continues to write, compose, and develop creative projects inspired by faith and life experiences. Through his work, he seeks to remind us that wounds can become purpose and that even the most difficult seasons can be transformed into a testimony of hope.
